Windows XP – Delete History

How To Delete History:

Click on Start | Control Panel, followed by clicking on Appearances and Themes.

The Appearance and Themes window will appear. Click on the Taskbar and Start Menu option.

The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window will appear. Click on the Start Menu tab, followed by clicking on the Customize button.
Windows XP - Clear Recently Opened Documents
The Customize Start Menu window will appear. To disable keeping a recently opened documents list, click to clear the List my most recently opened documents check box. To Clear the existing list, click on the Clear List button.
