Internet Explorer 6 is the web browser offering from Microsoft. IE6 was released on August 27, 2001 and during the 2002 – 2003 years, it along with IE5 gained Microsoft the most used browser status with a usage share of around 95%.Much has changed in the browsers over the years, to delete your history in Internet Explorer 6 is quiet involved for a novice, so we have outlined the steps below.
How To Delete History:
Click on Tools | Internet Options[SinglePic not found]The Internet Options window will appear. Under the History section you can set the Days to keep pages in history option to how many days you wish to keep history for. In this example it has been set to 0, to remember no history.To clear the existing history, click on the Clear History button.[SinglePic not found]The following window will appear asking Are you sure you want Windows to delete your history of visited Web Sites? Click on Yes if you wish to delete the history list.[SinglePic not found]Back at the Internet Options window under the Temporary Internet Files section, you can delete cookies, by clicking on the Delete Cookies button.[SinglePic not found]Under the Temporary Internet Files section there is also the option to delete files, by clicking on the Delete Files button, this will allow you to Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files.[SinglePic not found]To configure the Amount of disk space to use for Temporary Internet Files, click on the Settings button. From here you can configure various options such as moving the Temporary Internet files folder to a different location.
